Demonstration purpose

This prototype presents the proposed customer journey in payment order: sender account → recipient → payment details → payment choice and controls → review → decision → recipient funds and spending test.

Important for reviewers: All accounts, balances and transactions are fictional. This demo does not connect to Capitec or another bank, verify account ownership, authenticate customers, transfer real money or block live transactions. A bank integration would be required for those functions.

Quick tutorial — how to use this demo

Enter the fictional sender bank and account details, then press Continue to recipient.
Enter the recipient details and the payment amount.
Choose Normal Payment or GuardPay Payment. For GuardPay, set a purpose, spending limit and permitted categories.
Review the details and press Confirm and simulate payment.
For GuardPay, test a recipient purchase using Normal Funds or GuardPay Funds. Try an unlisted merchant, then approve or decline as the sender. You can also pause and resume GuardPay.

Use the blue Continue buttons to move through the journey. The numbered tabs above also let you jump between screens.

Select payment type

The sender decides whether this is an ordinary payment or a purpose-controlled GuardPay payment.

Normal Payment

On approval, the receiver is credited as ordinary unrestricted funds.

GuardPay Payment

On approval, the receiver is credited to GuardPay Funds, with the conditions below.

Review and confirm payment

Check the sender, recipient and payment instructions before submitting.

In a real bank journey, the bank's normal customer authentication and payment confirmation would happen here. This demo does not collect passwords, PINs or OTPs.

Payment decision and receipt

The simulation displays approval or decline and the resulting test balances.
